ENLIL flew the moon into place

Everything was still flooded

There was no moon before the flood

ENLIL was the one who wanted his creation to succeed

We were all on board with the plan

I was happy for a new beginning

They’re all cubes … Everyone gets in something …

For a consciousness transfer

ENLIL wasn’t on the boat

ENKI also wasn’t there

You were locked out

I died to come here

If I was alive before I was born

Then when did I die

This certainly is not my home here … SO

Heaven – I haven’t been there in a long time

A white marble building

Where the hall of records were kept

Irving Finkel, Assistant Keeper I with responsibility for cuneiform in the Department of the Middle East, British Museum.

This talk, illustrated by a PowerPoint, will describe what befell the speaker after one quite remarkable cuneiform tablet was brought for examination to the British Museum in London. The inscription on this four-thousand-year-old tablet led to a series of altogether unexpected discoveries, demanding a whole new look at Noah and his Ark, and culminating in a book and a documentary film.
