The dead accumulated, the Kaurava leaders perished one after another.

Thus the five brothers completed their earthly mission; only Yuddhisthira ascended beyond the heavens alive but all others went there after death.

An epic with a sad melancholy ending but softened by the Hindu notion of destiny.
