Ancient Teutonic Church in Poland ignores Rome, venerates FERTILITY Gods!

I love this church! It is like it was designed by the Wicker-Man people! In fact, the church of St Mary in Chelmno Poland is just extraordinary! This is a regional town, which appears to have retained vestiges of an older fertility temple within the church!

When I entered this church I realised it was no ordinary place, with the stag horns hanging down over the entry way. Other pagan elements:
* Multiple images of St Christopher, possibly related to Dagda, fertility god. His staff looks more like a tree than a club.
* Christ is ‘pierced’ or has stems and branches growing from his heart and wounds.
* Christ and St Sebastian as ‘Baldr’.
* Weird bird imagery everywhere including bird perched on Yggdrasil on world mountain, eggs, phoenix?
* Etc! Head of God, Templar Symbol, plus Templar Cross! (Despite Teutonic knight associations!)

As you exit the church you are greeted by the horned one, almost asking you to return, or to remember him.
