I looked at this picture with different eyes today. I have seen this bust many times in pictures and I always noticed the left eye being white. Today, I wonder, since the left eye does not appear to be missing the iris, could it possibly indicate that either she had some sort of cataract over the eye or some sort of tech in front of it. As we learn more and more about ancient times and people, I am leaning toward the latter. I say this because all the rest of the paint and coloring is intact with only a few outer edge chips.
Thank you for the Hendrix music. Another one who knew things but silenced so he couldn’t light the candle for others to see the way. 🙂
